Mike Gentilcore earned his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1996. He spent the first decade of his career performing experimental research on the fatigue and fracture of metals and has published several articles in the field. Over the years he was worked in the areas of stress analysis, quality systems, statistical methods, and project management for applications ranging from manufacturing, military, and aerospace to hydraulic controls and power systems. Mike is also a dedicated athlete who enjoys BMX bicycle racing. After 12 years in the pro class, he is now the CEO of BMX Trail Riders of America, and president of the non-profit Lehigh Valley Bicycle Association. He has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for 18 years and enjoys ongoing study in the areas of nutrition, sports performance, and Reiki. Mike recently received his BARA from the Institute of Bioacoustic Biology in Albany, Ohio.
At the age of 42, Mike was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s autoimmune disease due to metal poisoining from mercury amalgam fillings. As the disease progressed, Mike developed debilitating chronic fatigue and neurological symptoms that affected his brain, liver, kidneys, and adrenals, almost ending his engineering career and athletic lifestyle. Finding a vast wealth of information in the field of autism recovery and functional medicine, Mike used his hands-on, research engineering approach to put his Hashimoto’s disease into remission and get back on his bike. He was also able to apply the principles he learned to greatly improve the health of his family and friends. He is with us today to share what he has learned about naturally supporting and improving our immune systems.

Zofia is a British born documentary film maker and human rights activist who has been living in Philadelphia since 2010. She is director of Neviah Films, a TV and film production company that introduces new perspectives into public debate to encourage action and inspire “agents of change”. While carrying out research for her latest film “Grow A Pear”, a feature length documentary that examines the effects of GMOs on human health and the environment, she became passionate about the issues facing our nation’s food supply. This quickly led her to the local food movement in Pennsylvania and to meeting Annmarie Cantrell and Karen Stark who had just formed GMO Free PA. This was the beginning of her work as a safe food advocate. GMO Free PA is a state-wide grassroots group whose mission is to publicize the newest research and information regarding the risks of genetically engineered foods, assist and educate consumers in selecting vendors and products that are GMO free, and advocate for legislation that requires mandatory GMO labeling in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Zofia is also co-founder of the non-profit organization Citizens for GMO Labeling, a national grassroots movement of mothers, fathers, farmers and citizens dedicated to ensuring our basic right of knowing what we’re feeding our families. Its mission is to raise public awareness across the U.S., engage grassroots activists and pass legislation calling for clear and immediate GMO labeling on the state and ultimately federal level.
Zofia has become well recognized as an advocate for food justice issues and GMO labeling and is invited to speak at events on a regular basis. She lives with her husband, son and rescue cat in Wynnewood.
Annmarie Cantrell, MEd is a former early intervention educator who has worked with young children with special needs for nearly 20 years.
In 2001, when she became interested in using food as a tool for healing oneself, she went through the culinary program at the Institute for Health and Culinary Arts. She then began a career as a chef and wellness educator, helping people weave their way through dietary mazes to find their way back to REAL foods to nourish their bodies, minds and spirits. She is particularly passionate about the health of children in this country and works closely with parents of children with allergies, autism and ADHD.
As an activist and advocate for food justice and food security, Annmarie works with local, organic producers and strives to educate the public about the dangers of our corporate fun food system. She is an active member of the Weston A Price Foundation and leads a local chapter for that foundation in Chester County, PA.

Dr. Nancy Tarlow is a family chiropractor and a 1993 graduate of NY Chiropractic College. She decided to become a chiropractor after a life-long history of chronic health problems like recurring sinus and bronchial infections and year-long environmental allergies cleared up after just a few months of receiving Chiropractic care. In practice, she learned many complimentary therapies that assisted in healing the gut and body and shares that knowledge with her patients. Her bottom line is you get to the cause of the problem and you can then help the person heal. She created this podcast to help others learn how anyone can heal their body using natural and safe methods and how to raise a healthy child free of vaccines and harmful medications.
